Job Title: Millwright Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Millwright Specialist to join our team at The Bucket Shop Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in machinery and equipment
  • Construct foundations for machinery and equipment
  • Repair or replace defective machinery parts to ensure optimal performance
  • Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up
  • Estimate costs and materials for maintenance and repair projects
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery and equipment
  • Operate machining tools to fabricate parts
  • Program programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to automate processes
  • Install machinery and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment to move heavy loads
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to understand equipment design and operation
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent oral communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
  • Team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Physically demanding work environment requiring bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
  • Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) weight handling capacity
