Job Summary

We are looking for skilled nurses who can provide patient-focused, safe, and holistic care to our patients in the community. As a Registered Nurse with Spectrum Health Care, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the community, including wound management, infusion therapy, palliative care, and chronic disease management.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve successful patient outcomes.
  • Continually assess, anticipate, and respond to new and changing patient needs.
  • Travel within your region to provide care to patients in their homes.

Requirements

  • Minimum two years of nursing experience, with community nursing experience preferred.
  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
  • Ability to work independently in the community.
  • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, required (additional languages an asset).
  • Valid Ontario driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • Experience with infusion therapy, mental health, palliative care, and wound care.
  • Excellent patient assessment and teaching skills.
