Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician - Patient Care Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing outstanding patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate prescriptions for accuracy and completeness, ensuring all necessary information is recorded in the pharmacy's computer system.
  • Prepare, package, and distribute patient prescriptions with precision and attention to detail.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including third-party management and reconciliation.
  • Support the pharmacy team with inventory management, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Bridging program in Pharmacy Technology from an accredited College.
  • Successful completion of the PEBC Qualifying exam.
  • Membership in good standing with the provincial College of Pharmacists.
  • 1 year continuous working experience in a pharmacy environment.
  • Proficient computer knowledge and skills, with Windows proficiency required.
