Job Title: Cloud IT Audit Leader

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud IT Audit Leader to join our team. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for leading the execution of our cloud audit strategy, ensuring effective partnerships with senior IT leaders, and supporting annual audit planning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution of cloud audit strategy, ensuring effective partnerships with senior IT leaders
  • Support annual audit planning and development, risk assessment, scoping, and execution of audits related to horizontal IT processes and risks
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in evaluating and testing internal controls and applying cloud, cyber security, logical access management, and relevant related audit skills
  • Support the execution of a risk-focused audit plan, review and approve audit work products to ensure thorough effective coverage and timely and effective escalation of issues and conclusions
  • Influence effective and sustainable improvements to processes and controls through insights gained based on risk and control expertise
  • Demonstrate strong communication and relationship-building skills in interactions with internal and external stakeholders, including executive management and regulators
  • Facilitate the development of cloud audit practices and facilitate their continuous improvement
  • Help drive consistent risk assessment and audit coverage approach of cloud controls across business units and corporate functions
  • Draft, review, finalize, and communicate audit deliverables, including audit findings, memos, and audit reports to senior and executive management
  • Participate as a non-voting member of various steering committees and management working groups, promoting balanced discussions and encouraging challenge and debate
  • Prepare relevant risk and audit reporting to key stakeholders, including executive management and governance committees
  • Provide insight on the evolving public cloud regulatory environment and interact with regulators
  • Stay abreast of industry and technical matters and efficiently and effectively apply applicable new developments in audit projects

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in public accounting, IT audit, consulting, or business process engineering, ideally in a highly regulated industry
  • Strong client relationship and employee management skills
  • Fluency in English - written and spoken
  • Proficient or knowledgeable in evaluating and testing internal controls and applying a risk-based audit approach
  • Strong expertise or experience auditing or assessing risk in technology areas
