At Freight X Transport Inc, we are seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for driving a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country. Your duties will include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country
  • Load and unload goods at designated locations
  • Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform brake adjustments, emergency roadside repairs, and pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo
Requirements
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willing to travel cross-border
