About the Role:

As a Concrete Finisher Specialist at NPM Construction Inc., you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete structures. This involves checking formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials, as well as operating power vibrators to compact concrete. You will also be responsible for leveling top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification, and imparting the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials for quality and accuracy
  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure even settlement
  • Level top surface concrete to exact specifications
  • Apply the desired finish to concrete surfaces using a variety of hand and power tools
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance
  • Work at heights and in confined spaces as needed
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure smooth project execution

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in concrete finishing; experience with power tools and equipment an asset
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks
