Job Title: Metal Surface Cleaner

We are seeking a skilled Metal Surface Cleaner to join our team at Ideal Coatings & Fabrication Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess materials from metal products
  • Transport items throughout the plant using powered equipment
  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant manually
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas
  • Load and unload vehicles
Work Environment:

Our work site environment is dusty, hot, and noisy, with occasional work at heights. You will be required to relocate to our industrial facility or establishment, with relocation costs not covered by the employer.

Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience: Will train
  • Physical Demands: Repetitive tasks, physically demanding, manual dexterity, attention to detail, standing for extended periods, fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, and large workload
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, reliability, and team player
