Job Title: Application Support Developer Analyst

Fidelity Canada is seeking a highly skilled Application Support Developer Analyst to join our technology team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and developing solutions for our applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support for our applications, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Develop and maintain application solutions for internal and external clients.
  • Collaborate with the Application Development team to ensure timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new applications and features.
  • Work closely with the Infrastructure and Network teams to ensure seamless integration of applications and systems.
Requirements:
  • College degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 6 months of relevant working experience in a technical support or development role.
  • Strong understanding of operating systems, applications, and software development lifecycle.
  • Experience with Waterfall and Agile Development Methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Appian Objects, Unix/Linux operating system, and Unix scripts.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with low-code, no-code BPM solutions such as Appian.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce or Dataphile platform.
  • Experience with cloud-based implementations.
  • Experience in setting up Secure File Transfer Protocols (SFTP) and file delivery.
