Job Summary

Ontario Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.

Responsibilities
  1. Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll and fixed assets
  2. Keep accurate financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  3. Prepare financial statements, post journal entries, and maintain general ledgers
  4. Reconcile accounts and prepare statistical, financial and accounting reports
Requirements
  1. Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience
  2. 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or a related field
  3. Excellent attention to detail and fast-paced work environment skills
  4. Strong organizational and judgment skills
