Job Title: Automotive Body Repairer

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Body Repairer to join our team at SOEI AUTO REPAIR LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating repair costs, planning repair work, and testing vehicles for proper handling. They will also clean and maintain the work space, replace front end components, and file, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate repair costs based on damage examination reports
  • Plan repair work to be performed
  • Test drive vehicles for proper handling
  • Clean and maintain work space
  • Replace front end components, body components, doors, and frame and underbody components
  • File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired
  • Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting
  • Hammer out dents, buckles, and defects using blocks and hammers
  • Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
  • Repair or replace interior components
  • Repair or replace damaged windows, windshields, and sunroofs
  • Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams
  • Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. They will be required to work in a team environment and have excellent client focus and reliability.

Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 40 hours per week
