Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Calgary Sweets & Restaurant Ltd. as a key member of our restaurant operations team.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and Implement Operational Procedures
Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations in our restaurant.
Supervise and Coordinate StaffOversee and coordinate the activities of our food preparation and service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
Train and Develop StaffTrain new staff members in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities to enhance their skills and performance.
Inventory ManagementEstimate and manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.
Quality Control and Customer ServiceEnsure that food and service meet our high quality control standards, addressing customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Administrative TasksMaintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, as well as establish and manage work schedules to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements- Education
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
Work EnvironmentFast-paced restaurant environment with a focus on customer satisfaction
Physical DemandsStanding for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling
Personal QualitiesExcellent interpersonal skills, efficient communication, flexibility, and a team player attitude
