Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Alliance Transport Ltd.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a tractor-trailer to transport goods and materials across various locations. This is a permanent position with a 40 to 60 hour work week.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy to transport goods and materials
- Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
- Ensure the safety and security of cargo during transportation
- AZ class license
- Air Brakes Endorsement
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
The successful candidate will be required to work in a variety of locations, including urban and rural areas. The work environment will be physically demanding, with a focus on safety and security.
