BAS Service and Automation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled BAS Service and Automation Specialist to join our team at Ainsworth. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service and support to our customers across various buildings.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will have a strong background in building automation systems, electrical controls, and HVAC equipment. You will work independently, with minimal supervision, to perform a variety of tasks including preventative maintenance, system programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct site-specific training for owner/operators
- Perform system startups, network connections, and create/modify graphics interfaces as required
- Point-to-point functional testing of equipment/systems
- Document and record-keeping of work performed
- Coordinate and communicate with clients and dispatchers
- High school or equivalent education required
- A minimum of 1 year of experience working with building automation systems and electrical controls
- Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school with a certificate in instrumentation, automation, HVAC, or BAS preferred
- Certified Red Seal Electrical Journeyperson with computer skills
