Job Summary

Magnus HRS is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Pediatric department. As a Registered Nurse in our NICU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care to newborns and their families in the NICU setting
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to physicians
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on disease management and self-care

Requirements

  • Bilingual (French/English) language proficiency
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Canada
  • Minimum 1 year of Medsurg Canadian nursing experience
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Current NRP & FHS certification
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Current TB test within the last 12 months
  • Ability to work post-partum shifts
