Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Fat Bastard Burrito Co. as a key member of our restaurant operations team.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards. This role requires excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Prepare budget and cost estimates
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
- Prepare and submit reports
The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The role requires standing for extended periods and physical demands.
Requirements:- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical demands of standing for extended periods
