Job Title: Finish Carpenter

At Batz Painting & Finishing Inc., we are seeking a skilled finish carpenter to join our team. As a finish carpenter, you will be responsible for installing and finishing various types of wood products, including trim, molding, and doors.

Responsibilities:
  • Install and finish wood products, including trim, molding, and doors
  • Work with various types of wood, including hardwoods and softwoods
  • Use power tools, such as table saws and miter saws, to cut and shape wood
  • Apply finishes, such as stains and paints, to wood products
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople, including painters and electricians
  • Ensure all work is done to a high standard and meets company quality control standards
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience as a finish carpenter
  • Completion of a carpentry trade certification program or equivalent experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Steel-toed safety boots and safety glasses/goggles
  • Excellent oral communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Reliability and accuracy
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
