About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Food Preparation Specialist to join our team at Mui Ngo Gai Vietnam Singapore Cuisine. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, including portioning and wrapping foods, and packaging take-out food.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas, and handle and store cleaning products.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, and maintain a clean and welcoming dining environment.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment with fast-paced and physically demanding conditions.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work under pressure.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
