30 Forensic Engineering is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Civil/Structural Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will contribute to a wide range of forensic investigations, providing technical expertise and analysis to support legal and insurance claims.

As an Intermediate Associate, you will work closely with senior engineers and project managers, applying your knowledge of structural design principles, building codes, and failure analysis techniques. You will be responsible for conducting site inspections, collecting evidence, preparing detailed reports, and presenting findings to clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough on-site investigations of structural failures and incidents
  • Analyze structural drawings, specifications, and construction documents
  • Perform calculations and simulations to determine the cause of failures
  • Prepare comprehensive technical reports documenting findings and conclusions
  • Collaborate with engineers, attorneys, and insurance adjusters
  • Present technical information clearly and concisely to clients and stakeholders
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably with a focus on forensic investigations
  • Strong understanding of building codes and standards
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
