Job Title: Concrete Forms Carpenter

The Arbor Victorian Living LTD is seeking a skilled Concrete Forms Carpenter to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites.
  • Survey building locations and levels.
  • Instruct apprentices.
  • Supervise other workers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 40 hours per week.
Work Environment:

The Concrete Forms Carpenter will work in a fast-paced construction environment, requiring physical stamina and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
