Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada). As a key member of our Technology Solutions group, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud architecture projects that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project managers and solution architects to deliver cloud architecture projects on time and within budget.
  • Assess and develop current architecture and readiness for cloud implementation, introducing new solutions and modernization strategies for the platforms.
  • Develop detailed-level design requirements for architecture implementations, optimizing platform and integration strategies for cost-effective delivery of scalable and reliable distributed systems.
  • Create delivery guides, assessments, and common architecture patterns for cloud architecture projects.
  • Implement best practices for backup and recovery techniques for applications in GCP, Azure private cloud focusing on continuous deployment, cloud security, governance, configuration management, and continuous integration.
  • Resolve Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Return on Investment (ROI) for the data platform and data products.
  • Drive the adoption of DevOps best practices to streamline data pipeline implementation and maintenance.
  • Provide expertise in API integration and data governance for smooth data flows across systems.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
