Job Title: Personal Support Worker - Nursing Care

The Alexander Muskoka Operations (Gravenhurst) LP is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Personal Support Worker - Nursing Care to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will provide exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide personal care, including toileting, feeding, and transferring residents.
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving, ensuring residents receive a balanced diet.
  • Support residents with mobility and transfer needs, using proper lifting and transfer techniques.
  • Administer first aid and respond to emergency situations, following established protocols.
  • Document resident care and activities in a clear and concise manner.
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field.
  • Experience working in a long-term care setting, an asset.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
