Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to join our team as a Truck Repair Assistant at R&L Truck Repairs Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will assist our mechanics in performing various tasks related to truck repair and maintenance.

Responsibilities
  • Assist mechanics in moving tools, equipment, and other materials as needed.
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public.
  • Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas.
Work Environment

The work environment is physically demanding, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work under pressure.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
  • Efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a team player attitude are essential.
Working Conditions

The work site environment is noisy and dusty. You will be required to work 35 hours per week, with a permanent employment opportunity.

Language

The primary language of work is English.
