Job Title: Softgoods Associate

Job Summary:

Giant Tiger is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Softgoods Associate to join our team. As a Softgoods Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including current promotions, sales, and product features.
  • Ensure a positive shopping experience for customers, including maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit card transactions, and returns.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays, including setting up and maintaining displays, and ensuring a visually appealing store environment.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of product knowledge, including current promotions, sales, and product features.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on multitasking and time management.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
