Family Practitioner Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Family Practitioner to join our dynamic team at the Mayne Island Health Clinic. As a Family Practitioner, you will provide primary care, urgent, and emergent episodic care to a diverse patient base in a relaxing team environment.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a well-equipped modern clinic, supported by a volunteer Health Association and seamlessly physician-run. You will have your own patient panel and the flexibility to modify your schedule to suit your availability and practice model.

Benefits

As a Family Practitioner at Island Health, you may be eligible for additional remuneration under the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA), including:

  • Recruitment Incentive - $15, (pro-rated based on FTE)
  • Fee Premium – 10.85%
  • Annual Flat Fee - $16,.65
  • Rural CME starting at $/annum for 2 years or less in community, increasing to a maximum of $4, after 4 years
  • Rural GP Locum Program provides $/day plus to locum physician with 38 days/annum locum coverage to resident physician
