The Role:

We are seeking individuals who possess excellent communication skills and are strong advocates for patient and family-centered care. The successful candidate will join a dynamic interprofessional team that fosters collaboration and service excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing quality care based on the latest guidelines and best practices aligned with the Critical Care Services Ontario (CCSO) strategy
  • Functioning effectively in emergency situations and demonstrating skill and knowledge of I.V. therapy and venipuncture
  • Demonstrating clinical assessment and patient/family teaching skills, as well as the ability to function effectively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Utilizing effective communication skills and demonstrated reliable attendance, punctuality, availability, and performance

Qualifications:

  • Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse
  • Recent Medical/Surgical experience of at least 2 years required, with preference given to candidates with current critical care nursing experience
  • Demonstrated ability to function effectively in emergency situations, with consideration given to candidates with, or enrolled in, post-diploma courses in Critical Care nursing, I.V. therapy, physical assessment, or other related educational courses

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
