Job Title: Diesel Mechanic

Fort Garry Ind. Ltd. is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in performing routine maintenance and repairs on our heavy-duty equipment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with experience working with computerized testing equipment and troubleshooting complex issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tune-ups
  • Repair and diagnose complex diesel engine issues using computerized testing equipment
  • Work with hydraulic and electrical systems to diagnose and repair issues
  • Collaborate with other technicians to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience working with diesel engines and heavy-duty equipment
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair and maintenance principles
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
