Job Title: Early Childhood Educator - Child Development Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Play Learn Grow Academy. As a Child Development Specialist, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess children's development to create personalized learning plans
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that promote children's growth and development
  • Assist in carrying out programs that support children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development
  • Lead activities such as storytelling, singing, and outings to local points of interest
  • Assist in maintaining records and observing children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues and community service providers
  • Plan and organize activities for school-age children in child-care programs

Requirements:

  • Member of the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Punctuality, reliability, and a team player
