Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Gold Leaf Home & Property Services. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our properties.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Security and Safety: Bondable, criminal record check.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, own vehicle, valid driver's licence, public transportation is not available.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, standing for extended periods.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, dependability, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, team player, values and ethics, honesty.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.
  • Financial Benefits: Mileage paid, permanent employment, English language, 9 to 35 hours per week.
