Job Summary:

Jardeg-Construction is seeking a skilled Apprentice Pipefitter to join our Fabrication Shop team in Bonnyville, Alberta. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for laying out, assembling, fabricating, maintaining, and repairing piping systems for the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabrication and Assembly: Read and interpret Acorn and isometric drawings to fabricate and assemble piping systems.
  • Team Collaboration: Follow written and verbal instructions from forepersons, leadhands, or journeypersons to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Piping System Maintenance: Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems that carry water, steam, chemicals, or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating, and other processes.
  • Worksite Maintenance: Maintain all tools, work areas, and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements:

  • Journeyperson Certification: Possess a valid journeyperson certification in pipefitting.
  • Construction Safety Training Systems 2020 Certification: Hold a valid Construction Safety Training Systems 2020 certification.
  • WHMIS 2015: Possess a valid WHMIS 2015 certification.
  • AWP and Fall Protection: Hold valid AWP and Fall Protection certifications.
  • Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test: Satisfactorily complete a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test.
