About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team at Finance Professionals Inc. in Downtown Toronto.

This is a 6-month hybrid position, requiring 1-2 days of on-site work per week.

As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, as well as supporting infrastructure as code.

About the Job Description

Typical Responsibilities Include:

  • Gathering requirements, designing configurations, coding, testing, and resolving issues in development and production environments.
  • Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, supporting infrastructure as code, job scheduling, unit/integration testing, business process documentation, development of training materials, and delivery of end-user training.
  • Configuring Terraform pipelines to provision VMs in Azure.
  • Using Ansible or Puppet to install necessary NVIDIA drivers and CUDA toolkit on the VMs.
  • Setting up monitoring systems for provisioned VMs and processes running on them.
  • Translating business requirements into configurations and interface specifications.
  • Coordinating testing and validation with business users.
  • Preparing detailed functional specifications for the development of custom scripts, enhancements, interfaces, conversions, and forms.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 10+ years of experience in system administration, software development, or IT support, with recent 5+ years working as a DevOps engineer.
  • 5+ years of experience in Linux environment, writing linux commands and shell scripting, Configuration Management in either of Puppet or Ansible.
  • 3+ years of experience in Configuration of Terraform Pipeline.
  • 3+ years of experience in Public Cloud infrastructure setup and maintenance, familiarity with different types of offerings (VM, scalesets, storage accounts) in Azure preferred.
  • 1+ years' experience in Developing and maintain CI/CD pipelines and experience in ARM Templates (Azure resource manager).
