Job Summary

Ocean Gear Inc. is seeking a skilled Welder Specialist to join our team. As a Welder Specialist, you will be responsible for operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate and assemble metal parts. You will also be required to read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of welding techniques, including shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) and flux core arc welding (FCAW).

Responsibilities

- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate and assemble metal parts
- Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes
- Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
- Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment

Requirements

- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in welding
- Basic security clearance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
