Aldergrove Physiotherapy Rehabilitation Centre is seeking a highly motivated and organized Physical Therapy Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our centre.

About the Role

This permanent position offers a competitive salary of $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will work 30-40 hours per week in a hospital/medical facility or clinic setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Healthcare Professionals: Work closely with physiotherapists, chiropractors, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Position Patients for Treatments: Safely position patients for treatments by ensuring they are comfortable and secure throughout the process.
  • Maintain Equipment: Set up, dismantle, clean, and maintain equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Cleanliness and Inventory Management: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including cleaning and maintaining equipment, and managing inventory of supplies.
  • Patient Progress Documentation: Accurately document patient rehabilitation progress, including noting any changes or improvements.
  • Scheduling and Administrative Tasks: Schedule and confirm appointments, manage routine office functions, and perform administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Willingness to train and learn new skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that involve repetitive movements and standing for extended periods.
