Job Title: Machinist - Triangle Die & Tool

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at Triangle Die & Tool Co. Ltd. in St Catharines, Ontario.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and adjusting programs on CNC grinding machines. They will also be required to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings, inspect work in progress and upon completion, and apply basic metrology using measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and laser micrometers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC grinding machines to produce high-quality tooling
  • Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to ensure accuracy and precision
  • Inspect work in progress and upon completion to ensure it meets drawing specifications
  • Apply basic metrology using measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and precision
  • Familiarize yourself with a variety of machines found within the shop, including cutting, grinding, and PVD machines
  • May be required to program tools for machine operators on occasion
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to handle medium to heavy materials
  • Must be physically fit

  • Competitive hourly rate ranging from $29.00 to $36.00 based on qualifications
