We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team at BASF SE. As a key member of our API-Management group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our APIs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • API Design and Implementation: You will be responsible for designing and implementing API-Proxies that meet the highest standards of quality and security.
  • Concept Development: You will work closely with our team to develop and implement concepts related to operations topics.
  • Consulting and Coaching: You will provide expert guidance and coaching to other teams and colleagues on the setup of integration scenarios in API-Management.
Requirements:
  • Education: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years' relevant experience, with a focus on agile methodologies.
  • Expertise: Strong expertise in API design, implementation, and documentation, with a particular emphasis on security.
  • Tech Stack: Familiarity with tools such as Apigee Edge, SAP API Gateway, Azure API Proxy, Azure DevOps, Confluence, HTTP test tools, and automation using Azure DevOps pipelines.
