Job Summary

Budget Brake & Muffler Auto Centres is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components of automotive systems, and performing scheduled maintenance service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
Requirements
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
