Vantix Systems Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Digital Solutions Architect Lead to join our team.

As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing application solutions and mentoring for capital projects delivered by Major Capital Projects. You will develop application architectures that support IT infrastructure and contribute to the high level of reliability, availability, and performance required while improving business performance, mitigating risk, and reducing IT costs.

Your expertise in cloud architecture, data management, programming, and scripting will enable you to identify budget requirements for the provision of information technology and computing infrastructure. You will demonstrate an easy-to-do-business-with, high-performance, safe, accountable, innovative, and achievement-oriented manner of working.

We are looking for a candidate with 6+ years of experience in Information Technology, preferably with a strong background in capital projects and/or solution architecture in Azure cloud platform and Oracle technology stack. Critical analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and good communication and presentation skills are essential for this role.

The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Azure Services, including Data Lake, Databricks, Stream Analytics, and Data Factory, as well as strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, ETL processes, and data governance. Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases, data security, and compliance is also important.

Azure Services:

  • Proficiency in Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Azure Stream Analytics, and Azure Data Factory is essential.

Data Management:

  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, ETL processes, and data governance is necessary.

Programming and Scripting:

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL is required.

Cloud Architecture:

  • Understanding of cloud architecture principles, including scalability, high availability, disaster recovery, and cost management is crucial.
