About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nanny and Household Manager to join our team at JUVPREET SINGH GHARHAIL, MANPREET KAUR GHARHAIL. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for providing top-notch childcare and household support to our family.

Key Responsibilities
  • Childcare: Provide exceptional care and supervision to infants and children, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and putting them to bed.
  • Household Management: Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of the parents, including managing daily schedules, meal planning, and light housekeeping.
  • Education and Development: Instruct children in personal hygiene, social development, and other essential life skills.
  • Discipline and Safety: Discipline children according to the parents' methods and maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
  • Administrative Tasks: Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, as well as maintain a schedule of meals, activities, and appointments.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Recruit and support newcomers and refugees who were displaced by a conflict or natural disaster, and assist with foreign credential recognition.
  • Support for Youths: Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for youth, and provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations, and provide cultural competency training to all employees.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in childcare and household management.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
