Culture & People Consultant Role
Kaizen Lab Inc. seeks a highly skilled and experienced Culture & People Consultant to join its team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact and contribute to the growth and success of the organization.

About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting employees and leaders across various HR functions, including alignment of business goals with employee needs, promotion of a culture of wellbeing, respect, and growth mindset, and ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:
  1. Providing consultation services to employees and leaders on HR topics such as recruitment, employee relations, benefits, compensation, learning and development, career development, succession planning, and performance management.
  2. Acting as an employee advocate, escalating issues as necessary, and providing information and advice on policy interpretation.
  3. Conceptualizing, coordinating, and training on HR programs and initiatives, including preparation and maintenance of employment letters and agreements.
  4. Maintaining updates to job descriptions, acting as a champion for continual improvement, and assisting with research and execution of HR initiatives.
  5. Sourcing and building candidate pipelines through social media presence and full-cycle recruiting using Payworks.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; CPHR preferred.
  2. At least 5 years of progressive human resources experience.
  3. Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills at both individual and group levels.
  5. Able to maintain confidentiality and deal with sensitive issues.
  6. Able to work independently to achieve required objectives.
  7. Able to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Intermediate level of knowledge with MS Office Suite, with strengths in Word and Excel.
  9. Strong computer literacy with ability to utilize and leverage various forms of software and technology.
  10. Valid police information check for the Vulnerable Sector within the past 2 months.
