Dental Laboratory Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Dental Laboratory Assistant to join our team at Shaw Lab Group. As a key member of our dental laboratory team, you will be responsible for preparing plaster models and moulds, casting gold or metal alloys for bridges and denture bases, and maintaining and ordering supplies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare plaster models and moulds for dental restorations
  • Cast gold or metal alloys for bridges and denture bases
  • Maintain and order dental laboratory supplies
  • Assist in the fabrication of dental prostheses
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a dental laboratory setting
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
