Senior Solutions Architect

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Senior Solutions Architect to join our Canadian Specialist Organization (CANSO) Data & AI team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to design and implement innovative solutions that leverage Amazon Web Services (AWS) Data & AI services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement large-scale database solutions that meet customer needs and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to understand their technical and business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in AWS Data & AI services and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Provide thought leadership and evangelize AWS Data & AI services through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, and public-speaking events.
  • Partner with sales, business development, and data teams to accelerate customer adoption and provide guidance on customer engagements.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in designing and implementing distributed applications.
  • 5+ years of experience in managing technical, customer-facing resources.
  • 5+ years of experience with database technologies, including design, optimization, migration, and integration.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT management, and developers.
  • Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.
