About the Role

MNP is a leading national accounting, tax, and business advisory firm in Canada. We're seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our Tax team, where you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our clients' success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality tax services, including tax planning, compliance, and consulting, to a diverse range of clients.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and develop tailored tax strategies that drive growth and minimize risk.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing tax laws and regulations, and apply this knowledge to provide expert advice to clients.
  • Lead engagement teams and mentor junior team members to ensure seamless delivery of tax services.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and identify new opportunities to grow our tax practice.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in commerce or business administration (accounting or finance major preferred).
  • CPA designation and current enrollment in the In-Depth Tax program.
  • 2-4 years of relevant public accounting or tax experience.
  • Working knowledge of the Canadian Income Tax Act and experience with accounting and tax software.
