We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Growth Specialist to cultivate and grow a portfolio of business clients within our target segment. This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of existing business relationships, with a strong focus on new business development, client acquisition, expansion of existing relationships, and client retention.
The ideal candidate will work closely with Team Leaders to execute against our segment strategy, contributing to net deposit growth, loan production, and expansion of revenue-generating products and services. They will also partner with private bankers and banking centers within their assigned markets to deliver an excellent client experience, identify growth opportunities, and drive value to our clients.
This role requires exceptional relationship management skills, with the ability to develop and maintain an extensive network of business contacts, COIs, community leaders, and other referral sources. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of business development, commercial loan origination, and relationship management skills.
The Strategic Business Growth Specialist will be responsible for:
- Contributing to the growth of our segment by executing against our segment strategy and achieving targeted growth goals.
- Developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of business banking, branch profitability, commercial lending, and treasury management products.
- Working closely with Team Leaders, Private Bankers, and Banking Centers to deliver an excellent client experience and drive value to our clients.
- Developing and presenting effective credit proposals and memos for consideration.
- Ensuring operational integrity among team members by complying with all regulations, policies, and procedures.
Requirements for this role include at least 7 years of relationship management/sales experience, including 5+ years developing and managing business relationships. A high school diploma or GED is required, although advanced degrees are preferred.
