The Role

The Airworthiness Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that company aircraft remain in compliance with all Regulatory Requirements, Airworthiness Limitations, and Maintenance requirements. This includes monitoring new/revised Airworthiness Directives (AD), creating and maintaining regulatory compliance templates, and facilitating TCCA issued Flight Permits.

Responsibilities
  1. Monitor new/revised AD and changes to applicable Aviation Regulations: Transport Canada, Department of Defence / Canadian Airforce (DND/CAF) and Foreign.
  2. Create and maintain aircraft regulatory compliance templates in the CMP.
  3. Notify stakeholders of any changes and detail how the changes affect the fleet.
  4. Facilitate TCCA issued Flight Permits for company and customer aircraft.
  5. Ensure weight & balance amendments and Equipment List are created/amended for Airways and Customer aircraft as required.
Requirements
  • Completion of an Accredited 2-year Aircraft Maintenance college course is required.
  • Must hold an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License.
  • TCCA Flight Permit Authority Delegation is a must.
  • ACA privilege is preferred.
