Freight Underwriting Consultant

As a key member of our underwriting team, you will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries, preparing quotations, and collaborating with other underwriters to deliver excellent service. Your duties will also include updating rate and tariff lists, preparing bids, and performing other related tasks.

• 2 years of experience in transportation, preferably with a recognized insurance company or logistics organization
• AEC in transportation logistics or equivalent training, with a solid understanding of transportation regulations and procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication skills in French and English, both spoken and written, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously with accuracy and attention to detail
