We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at DF Property Services. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, mixing paint to the desired color and texture, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted
- Repair cracks and holes
- Mix paint to desired color and texture
- Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field
- Ability to work outdoors, at heights, and in confined spaces
- Attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and ability to distinguish between colors
- Physically demanding work, up to 23 kg (50 lbs) weight handling
- Airless spray equipment, brush painting, conventional spray painting, electrostatic applications equipment, multi-ratio pump spraying, patterned rollers, roller painting, thermal spray equipment
- Drywall taping/patching, water/hydroblasting, steam cleaning
- Aggregate painting, sign painting, novelty and decorative effects, surface gilding, multi-color finishes, urethanes, paint spraying
- Graining, marbleizing, staining, glazing
