Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Nursing Support Specialist to join our team at our senior living residence. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our healthcare manager, ensuring the highest level of care for our residents.
About the Role- Act as a liaison between external stakeholders, including doctors, pharmacists, and community organizations.
- Administer medication in accordance with safety protocols and industry standards.
- Maintain open communication with families and loved ones of our residents, as well as with external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of resident intervention plans.
- Professional diploma in healthcare assistance or nursing.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in nursing, with at least 1 year in an administrative role.
- Membership in a professional nursing organization, such as OIIAQ or OIIQ.
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software.
- Nursing management experience.
- Discretion and respect for confidentiality.
