We are seeking a skilled Waterway Planning Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will contribute to the development and implementation of water management plans, conduct hydraulic investigations, and assist in preparing correspondence and planning documents.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement water management plans
  • Conduct hydraulic investigations and evaluations
  • Design and develop hydraulic structures and crossing structures
  • Prepare technical reports and correspondence

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
  • Experience in undertaking watershed scale hydraulic studies
  • Experience in preliminary hydraulic design of hydraulic structures and crossing structures
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

Working Conditions:
This position requires working in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, and exposure to water environments. A valid driver's license and ability to register or become registered as a Professional Engineer or Engineer-in-Training with Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba are also necessary.
