Job Summary

Jasper Concrete Ltd. is seeking a skilled Construction Helper to join our team. As a Construction Helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Materials: Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the site.
  • Operate Heavy Machinery: Operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position, or place equipment and materials.
  • Perform Pre-Operational Inspection: Conduct pre-operational inspections to ensure the safe operation of heavy machinery.
  • Clean and Maintain Equipment: Clean and lubricate cranes and other heavy machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Erect and Dismantle Structures: Assist in erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Assist in Drilling and Blasting: Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
  • Level Earth: Level earth to fine grade specifications.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance work on heavy machinery and equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
