About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Hotel Attendant to join our housekeeping team at Hilton Garden Inn Burlington.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring our guests' rooms and public areas are clean, tidy, and well-maintained.

Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors in guest rooms and common areas;
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to maintain a high level of cleanliness and presentation;
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to ensure a clean and comfortable environment;
  • Make beds and change sheets according to hotel standards;
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to guest rooms and public areas as needed;
  • Stock linen closets with fresh linens and supplies;
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria;
  • Handle lost and found items and report any issues or concerns to management;
  • Respond to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items in a timely and courteous manner;
  • Provide basic information on hotel facilities and services to guests;
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers throughout the hotel;
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as required to maintain a high level of cleanliness and presentation.
Requirements
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 30 lbs) and bend, crouch, and kneel regularly;
  • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks;
  • Physically demanding role requiring stamina and endurance;
  • Excellent communication skills with attention to detail and customer service focus;
  • Previous experience an asset but not required;
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
