Shift Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Shift Supervisor to join our team at Rain Carbon. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our production team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production personnel to ensure that production targets are met.
- Process payroll and vacation documents in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collaborate with the Production Planner to create and report back production process orders in SAP.
- Monitor and control raw materials inventory, reordering as necessary to maintain optimal levels.
- Participate in Supervisors' meetings and lead safety meetings to promote a culture of safety and well-being.
- Train and develop production personnel to enhance their skills and performance.
- Monitor equipment operation, set maintenance priorities, and execute daily production instructions.
- Investigate and follow up on product quality nonconformances, taking corrective action as necessary.
- Ensure that equipment is properly prepared for maintenance and engineering work, and authorize work permits as required.
- Chemical Engineer degree preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of continuous operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Teams) and SAP.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work shifts and enforce company policies and procedures.
- Union experience is highly desirable.
- Chemical business background and experience.
